Erdigg - 16 miles / 30 minutes.

Erdigg is an old stately home, set in lovely grounds and gardens. But what is probably unique about Erdigg is the way it has captured the interaction between family and servants - witness the collection of portraits of the servants has to be seen. Large walled garden and Victorian parterre, extensive designed parkland and 13 miles of footpaths. National Trust.
