About Fernlea Cottage B&B
Fernlea Cottage is a modern rural cottage, set back from the road and surrounded by fields - making it a peaceful place to stay.
There is a spacious and attractive garden, which guests are welcome to use. The bedrooms look out onto the gardens and across the fields.
Guests have the use of a lounge, with French windows giving wonderful views of the Peckforton Hills and the surrounding countryside.
Woodpeckers are regular visitors A patio directly outside the lounge makes a relaxing place to enjoy the afternoon sun, after a day spent exploring Cheshire. There is a good selection of guides and maps in the lounge for guests to use and borrow.
Around and About
Tattenhall village is just a couple of miles down the road (turn right out of the gate). Tattenhall has a good selection of places to eat and shops. It's a pretty village, and is close to the Peckforton Hills and Beeston Castle. Find out more about the area
Eco Friendly
We are committed to reducing our carbon 'foot-print' and have recently installed a thermal solar panel for hot water use and PV solar panels for electricity. We also collect rain water for the garden and recycle all we are able to. You can read more about our initiatives here.
